The Loop Campus Library, located in the heart of Chicago´s business community, focuses primarily on business and computer science materials to support the programs of the College of Commerce, and the College of Computing and Digital Media. It also has core collections of materials in other areas to support the School for New Learning, and School of Public Service. A Career Information Collection provides resources on career choice, job search techniques and company information, and a Media Viewing/Listening Room is available for using audiovisual materials.

Computer labs and a photocopy room are located within the Library, with numerous workstations, and students, faculty and staff may access the University wireless network from their own laptops. There are three group study rooms for the use of DePaul students, faculty and staff; some rooms may be reserved, and others are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The John T. Richardson Library at the Lincoln Park Campus supports programs in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the School of Education, the College of Communication, the School of Music and the Theatre School. Facilities and collections include:

• Career Information Collection
• Chicago Collection
• Curriculum Materials Collection with materials for elementary and secondary school teaching
• Rare book collections include the Napoleon Collection and the Dickens Collection, as well as numerous titles dealing with 19th-century literature and book illustration. The University Archives houses materials documenting the growth and development of DePaul.
• Vincentian collections include the DeAndreis-Rosati Memorial Archives, the Opening Day Collection, and the Vincentiana Collection, as well as numerous others, including the Vincentian Postcards Digital Collection
• Library Media Lab, in which students, faculty and staff may view films, listen to musical recordings, and access the microfilm/microfiche collection
• Musical recordings and scores

Computer labs and photocopy facilities are located on the first and second floors of the building, and members of the DePaul community may also access the University wireless network. There are several group study rooms for the use of DePaul students, faculty and staff; some rooms may be reserved, and others are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Quiet study space is available on the upper floors of the Richardson Library.
