DePaul University Libraries
FAQ
I live overseas; can I borrow books from the library?

Yes, the library will ship books and other materials that cannot be delivered online to students currently enrolled in distance education courses.

  1. The first place to look for books is the library catalog. If DePaul owns the book, place a request and select "Distance Learning" as your pickup location.
  2. If DePaul does not own a book, place a request in I-Share and select DePaul as your pickup library and "Distance Learning" as your pickup location.
  3. If the book is not in I-Share, search WorldCat and look for a link that says "Request via DePaul ILLiad."

You will receive a postage-paid return envelope to send the books back to DePaul.
