4China and Taiwan Missions, Western Provice of the Congregation of the Mission
Description: This collection contains information about the Vincentian missionary presence in China and Taiwan. The first priests from the Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission were sent in 1923 to the Province of Kiangsi. When all foreign religious were expelled in 1951 the Vincentians moved their efforts to Taiwan. The collection dates from 1922 to 1994.

Description: The China Mission Photograph Collection documents the missionary presence of the Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission in the province of Kiangsi, China in the first half of the twentieth century. The collection dates from 1923 to c.1951.

Description: Records of the administrative office charged with handling all of the finances for the Vincentian missionaries in East Asia. The collection dates from 1930 to 1990.

9Provincial Assembly Records of the Western Province
Description: The Provincial Assembly Records (1843-1997) document the regular meetings convened by the Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission that are held in preparation for the General Assembly (meeting of Vincentians worldwide) and to discuss matters specific to the Province.

Description: Provincial Committees were established by Provincials to address the spiritual and educational development of the members of the Western Province of the Congregation of the Mission. The bulk of the collection documents the period following World War II and Vatican II (1950s-1970s).

Description: The St. Louis Diocesan Seminary Records include documents, letters, photographs, and publications created and retained by Vincentian administrators of three institutions established to educate diocesan seminarians at the following levels: high school, college, and theology. Please note that the Archives of the Archdiocese of St. Louis holds the primary archival collection of the three institutions: Kenrick Seminary, Cardinal Glennon College, and St. Louis Prep Minor Seminary South.
