The Curriculum Materials Collection


THE COLLECTION

The Lincoln Park Library has a separate location to house pre-K-12 curriculum materials.

 

LOCATION

First floor of the Lincoln Park Library by the copy room.

Hours

Open during all hours the library is open.

CRITERIA FOR INCLUSION

Materials in the CMC must be practical rather than theoretical and directly useful for constructing curriculum units or lesson plans.

  

CONTENTS

The collection is denoted with the call number prefix ERC or CMC. It includes the following types of materials:
  • Children´s literature
  • Elementary & secondary textbooks
  • Curriculum guides
  • Lesson plans
  • Standards
  • Music books
  • Basal readers
  • Kits and manipulatives for pre-K classes

Items are arranged by type and color-coded for easy access.
