The following resources are searchable databases, but are only available from particular library locations. These are generally used for advanced research.

Bloomberg

• Available a dedicated workstation in the Loop Campus Library.
• Bloomberg provides up-to-the-minute financial news and market analysis.
• Access is limited to DePaul students and faculty. Call (312) 362-8432 to make an appointment to use this resource.
  

SciFinder Scholar

• Available at selected workstations in the Lincoln Park library.
• Provides accurate and comprehensive chemical and related scientific information. This Chemical Abstracts database offers journal articles, patents, conference proceedings, dissertations, books, and technical reports from all over the world. Selected workstations for current students and faculty. To search, inquire at the reference desk.
  

The Wellesley index to Victorian periodicals, 1824-1900

• Available at selected workstations in the Lincoln Park library. To search, inquire at the reference desk.
• The Wellesley Index identifies the authors of articles within 45 major Victorian periodicals, and provides a bibliography for each contributor, using each pseudonym. Citations of evidence are provided to support attributions of authorship, along with brief biographical and vocational details.
